AutoLinks for Joomla!

AutoLinks does create automatic links within your Joomla! Content Articles. By defining search expressions either as Phrases or by Regular Expression, and relating these to Content Articles or any URL, this extension will replace the expressions by Links to the so related content or URL. This creates nicely cross-linked pages for Keywords or Keyphrases, without need of the Author to actively insert a Link into the Article. Each Link may also have a Description which is used as Title Property for the Link or as additional description for the Link when being shown on the Articles top or bottom.

Each Link allows to set properties, which define the appearance of the Link:

• as link inline of the Article Text
• as link showing on top of the Article
• as link showing on bottom of the Article
• as bookmark directing to the link when it is on the top or bottom of the Article
• as link opening in a new browser window or tab
• define a alternate template for the links presentation from the default

For the presentation of the links the Joomla! Template Feature is used, so that everyone may change the appearance of the links to its liking by modifying the template and adding or changing the respective HTML. By that allowing to implement Links with JavaScript Events or other customizations.

AutoLinks has a comfortable Administrator Component for editing and managing the links with overview of the individual defined links, their status and order.

Multi-Language content is fully supported by AutoLinks, by using JoomFish for the translated content. AutoLinks is delivered with Language Files for the Frontend and the Administrator Component allowing to create localizations. The Links created by this extension are always created on the fly, so with any SEO Components used the such optimized link is generated. When moving a link related content article into different sections or categories, the link to it is always up to date. For any related content being unpublished or expired, the respective AutoLink is suspended automatically.
